Born of Osiris + special guests Ingested, Entheos, The Voynich code

In the spring of 2025, the dreams of a large part of Lithuanian heavy music fans will come true: Born of Osiris, a modern progressive metal band from the USA, will perform for the first time in our country. The band’s European tour, which will include three other bands – Ingested, Entheos and The Voynich Code, is scheduled to make one of its stops in Vilnius club “Vakaris” on 11 May.

All the ingredients of Born of Osiris are right and appropriate for their music: inhuman vocals, technically dazzling rhythm, quite complex rhythm sections and epic melodies. But they do not stand still. There is a constant organic evolution and gradual progression in their work, which takes the band from the small suburbs of Chicago to the next level with each new album.

BORN OF OSIRIS – Follow The Signs

Ingested, the British death metal titans, have been playing hard-hitting anti-hymns for more than a decade and a half and have released a series of albums that have helped shape the genre. If you are really into heavy and extreme music, it is almost impossible not to find something you like in their music. The main elements of the work of Ingested are stunning riffs, ultra-fast drumming and propulsive vocals, but there are also some atmospheric, otherworldly moments and some raw, old-school death metal aggression in their music. They break into your souls, rip through and roll around sweeping away everything in their path.

INGESTED – A Path Once Lost

Entheos, an American progressive metal band, was formed in 2015 by former members of the already quite popular bands Animosity, Animals as Leaders and The Faceless. Since then, they have been working quite productively because their discography now includes two mini-albums and three full-length studio works. The line-up of the band has changed over the years, but the core of the band has remained unchanged, with Chaney Crabb on lead vocals and Navene Koperweis on multi-instrumentals. During this tour, the new Entheos line-up will present not only their latest studio album Time Will Take Us All (2023), but also several new singles released at the end of 2024.

The list of participants in the concert is completed by The Voynich Code, a Portuguese band founded in 2014. It masterfully combines elements of death and progressive metal and deathcore to create an avalanche of unpredictable sound that is hard to ignore. Their music is characterised by technical mastery and emotional depth, heavy guitar riffs, groovy drums and mysterious keyboard parts. The year 2023 was a decisive moment and a turning point in The Voynich Code‘s career when they signed to Unique Leader Records and released the album Insomnia. The two explosive singles “Unholy Catastrophe” and “The Last Grain”, which introduced the album, cemented the band‘s reputation as a deathcore powerhouse. As the musicians continuously push their creative boundaries, fans can look forward to more innovative music and exciting live performances.
