In 2026, the Organum Piano Hall opens its doors to a unique phenomenon in Lithuanian musical life—the piano jazz concert series “Here and Now.” The cycle comprises six evenings of solo recitals and duets, dedicated to Lithuania’s most prominent jazz pianists and to the art of improvisation born in the moment.
The concept of the series is to emphasize the irreproducible nature of live creation. Each evening will be a singular event without parallel, offering audiences the rare experience of witnessing music that will never be repeated. Here and now, listeners become part of the creative process—their emotions, reactions, and energy shaping the musical flow in real time.
The series features five duo concerts, bringing together leading Lithuanian jazz masters—improvisers, creators, and musical partners—who will shape a distinctive musical world, style, dramaturgy, and aesthetic at each performance.
This expanded project will culminate in an exceptional event never before seen in Lithuania: the Grand Piano Evening, on December 27, 2026, when five pianos and all ten pianists of the series will unite on one stage, merging their individual improvisational languages into a single monumental musical whole.
At the fourth concert of the series, “Autumn Conversations,” audiences will hear the duo of Dainius Pulauskas and Artūras Anusauskas. Until we meet—here and now, in the moment!
