30th Anniversary of the Lithuanian Volkswagen Beetle Club

This Saturday, Vilnius Town Hall Square will fill with classic Volkswagen Beetles as the Lithuanian Volkswagen Beetle Club invites Vilnius residents and visitors to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The Club’s story began in Vilnius in 1996. One of its first gatherings that autumn ended at Town Hall Square, making it a fitting place to return 30 years later for the anniversary celebration.

From 12:00 to 16:00 on September 26, visitors will have a chance to see classic Volkswagen cars up close, meet their owners, hear their stories and vote for their favourite car.

The programme will include a concert by The BrassBees, conversations with Beetle enthusiasts, a Show & Shine, awards, games and the traditional “Lego Beetle” challenge.

The event is free and open to everyone.
