Formation of event website content<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event website www.vilnius-events.lt<\/a><\/strong> is designed to showcase the most important cultural events in Vilnius. Events should be relevant both to Vilnius residents and to international visitors; therefore, priority is given to events that provide information in Lithuanian and\/or English. This ensures that the published events are understandable and accessible to a broad audience. Event listings on the website are free of charge. The website administrator reserves the right to select which events are published.<\/p>\n

The main criteria for event selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Events must be of significant importance to the city\u2019s cultural life and represent the city.<\/li>\n
  2. Events included in traditional city event calendars.<\/li>\n
  3. Events supported by Vilnius City Municipality or its cultural institutions.<\/li>\n
  4. Events open and relevant to a wide public audience.<\/li>\n
  5. Events appealing to tourists visiting Vilnius from various countries.<\/li>\n
  6. Priority is given to events that provide information in Lithuanian and\/or English.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Events that are NOT published or published only with administrator approval:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Events with incomplete information (missing date, venue, ticket price, description, or images).<\/li>\n
    2. Religious ceremonies and celebrations organized by religious communities.<\/li>\n
    3. Events targeted at narrow interest groups.<\/li>\n
    4. Ongoing events or long-term event cycles.<\/li>\n
    5. Classes, lessons, courses, seminars, workshops, camps, and training auditions.<\/li>\n
    6. Events promoting commercial products or services.<\/li>\n
    7. Political or agitation-driven events.<\/li>\n
    8. Erotic events or performances.<\/li>\n
    9. Events related to the advertising, promotion, presentation, or encouragement of the use of alcohol, tobacco, psychotropic, or other psychoactive substances are not published on the website.<\/li>\n
    10. Events that provide information only in languages other than Lithuanian or English and are not relevant to international or local tourists based on the website\u2019s purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
