This is where music isn’t repeated. It is born.

Jam Sessions are Thursday evenings at Alaus Namai in Vilnius, where four creative pots are always simmering: music, spoken word, dance and visuals.

This is not a concert, a rehearsal or a traditional open mic. Covers and musical templates are not allowed on stage. We don’t meet to repeat what has already been created. We meet to create something nobody has ever heard before.

One person offers a rhythm, another responds with a melody, and a third adds an unexpected harmony. Someone starts reciting poetry, someone else begins to dance. That’s how music comes to life – here and now, without a script or prior preparation.

You can show up empty-handed and still end up playing.

The stage is already equipped with drums, bass and guitar amplifiers, keyboards and microphones. If you come alone, the house rhythm section will help bring your musical idea to life.

There are no auditions and no genre boundaries. What matters most is the ability to listen, respond, improvise and create together.

There are no headliners at Jam Sessions. The most important things are musical chemistry, spontaneity and moments that can never be repeated.

Every Thursday is one of a kind.
