The festival is organised by the Association of Poles in Lithuania.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first \u201cPolish Flowers\u201d festival took place in 1989, with Jan Gabriel Mincewicz, longtime chairman of the Association of Poles in Lithuania and head of the \u201cWile\u0144szczyzna\u201d ensemble, serving as the main organiser of this and subsequent festivals. After his death, the festivals unfortunately took place irregularly, with breaks in between, and the last one was held in Nemen\u010din\u0117 in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Organiser \u2013 Association of Poles in Lithuania<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Association of Poles in Lithuania, together with numerous partners, has undertaken the task of organising the festival. For the first time, it will be held under the name <strong>Jan Gabriel Mincewicz Polish Culture Festival \u201cPolish Flowers\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the largest celebration of Polish song and dance will take place in the capital, in the arena at the Three Crosses Hill in Kaln\u0173 Park. The festival will open at <strong>14:30<\/strong>, preceded by a <strong>13:15 Mass in Polish<\/strong> at Vilnius Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Ladislaus, followed by a ceremonial procession of festival participants to Three Crosses Hill.<\/p>\n<p>More Than 50 Polish Ensembles<\/p>\n<p>More than 50 Polish ensembles will take part in this year\u2019s Jan Gabriel Mincewicz Polish Culture Festival \u201cPolish Flowers\u201d: more than 20 from the Vilnius District Municipality, around a dozen each from the \u0160al\u010dininkai District and the city of Vilnius, as well as Polish ensembles from the Trakai, \u0160irvintos and \u0160ven\u010dionys districts.<\/p>\n<p>The festival\u2019s directors are <strong>Wioleta Leonowicz<\/strong>, chief choirmaster, and <strong>Bo\u017cena Daniele<\/strong>, chief choreographer.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":236171,"template":"","categories":[4,12,14],"tags":[],"ticket-vendor":[],"class_list":["post-236170","event","type-event","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-koncertai","category-nemokami-renginiai","category-po-atviru-dangumi"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t<!-- All in One SEO 5.0.2 - aioseo.com -->\n\t<meta name=\"description\" content=\"On Saturday, September 26, the Polish Culture Festival \u201cPolish Flowers\u201d will take place in Vilnius.
