The \u0160iauliai Boys\u2019 and Youth Choir \u201cDagil\u0117lis\u201d returns to the St. James Festival once again. This evening\u2019s programme, “On the Wings of Song”, presents a broad panorama of sacred choral music \u2013 from the masters of the Renaissance and Baroque to works by contemporary European composers exploring themes of peace, gratitude, and hope.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDagil\u0117lis\u201d<\/strong> is one of Lithuania\u2019s most distinguished choral ensembles, having received top honours and Grand Prix awards at international competitions in Europe, the United States, and China, and representing Lithuanian choral culture in prestigious concert halls around the world.<\/p>\n

The choir\u2019s founder and long-time artistic director, Lithuanian National Prize for Culture and Arts laureate Remigijus Adomaitis, together with concertmaster Daiva \u0160ulcait\u0117, prepares programmes of the highest artistic calibre, bringing together deep spiritual traditions and contemporary performance aesthetics.<\/p>\n
