Summer continues, and so do the free outdoor cinema events!<\/p>\n
On August 27<\/strong>, join us for a film picnic in the meadow beneath the Vilnius TV Tower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n At this edition of \u201cCinema Under the Stars\u201d<\/strong>, we will screen three Lithuanian short films, followed by the film Rental Family<\/em>.<\/p>\n Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n About the films:<\/strong><\/p>\n Renovation<\/strong> (dir. Gabriel\u0117 Urbonait\u0117, 2025) \u2013 A romantic drama about a renovated apartment building and the doubts that arise in the relationship of a couple who move into it. Gabriel\u0117 Urbonait\u0117 was named the Best Baltic Director at the Tallinn Film Festival.<\/p>\n Close Contact<\/strong> (dir. August\u0117 Gerikait\u0117, 2025) \u2013 A homophobic man discovers a severely beaten drag queen named Klaudijus in the stairwell of an apartment building and is forced to decide what happens to the victim. Loving<\/strong> (dir. Vesta Tu\u010dkut\u0117, 2026) \u2013 The story of Adela and Benas, two strangers whose brief encounter in Lithuania develops into a gentle yet profound connection.<\/p>\n Total Drama<\/strong> (dir. Kristoffer Borgli, 2026) \u2013 The most dramatic wedding of the year.
