Held for the 14th time, the St. Bartholomew Fair brings to life the old guild traditions of Vilnius, whose roots date back to 1495.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The celebration will traditionally begin with a ceremonial procession of craftsmen carrying historic guild banners, stretching from the Gates of Dawn to Town Hall Square. On both days, <strong>from 11:00 to 20:00<\/strong>, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities \u2013 from street theatre performances and jester antics to knights\u2019 battles and 17th\u201318th-century town dances.<\/p>\n<p>This is a unique opportunity not only to observe but also to try traditional crafts for yourself. Craftsmen will invite visitors to make a Gothic-style pot, learn how to make traditional soap, and discover the secrets of goldsmithing, bookbinding and Gothic script.
