Tiles in \u201cThe House\u201d<\/em> have always felt as if they were about to explode \u2014 as if behind the walls there were still traces of the people who once lived there: their hands, voices, and footsteps. Yet they never explode. They remain, like a diary preserving imprints of former inhabitants and fragments of our own everyday lives.<\/p>\n \u201cThe House\u201d<\/strong> is a performative parable about violence, addiction to images, and the collapse of illusion \u2014 in other words, about reality that eventually catches up with us, no matter how hard we try to avoid it.<\/p>\n The work is directed by Dimitris Karantzas<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, known for his minimalist, tension-driven stage language. The performance constructs an elliptical, almost silent world where action circles around stillness, and meaning emerges through routine rather than dialogue.<\/p>\n On stage, two actors portray characters engaged in ordinary domestic rituals \u2014 cooking, cleaning, paying bills \u2014 while the outside world is shaken by violence and change. Their apartment could be anywhere: Athens, Tokyo, Madrid, or Vilnius.
