Back-to-School Season with \u201cGusGus\u201d: Electronic Music Legends Return to Vilnius<\/p>\n

One of Iceland\u2019s most prominent electronic music groups, \u201cGusGus,\u201d is returning to Vilnius, where they will perform on September 2 at \u201cVasaros terasa,\u201d symbolically marking the beginning of the new academic year.<\/p>\n

Having existed for more than three decades, the group has long outgrown the boundaries of the club scene. The name \u201cGusGus\u201d is associated with high-quality, hypnotic electronic music that blends Nordic melancholy, rave energy, and precise sound design. It is a group that is difficult to place within a single genre \u2013 their music incorporates elements of techno, house, trip-hop, and alternative electronic music.<\/p>\n

Returning to Lithuania each time as if among old good friends, the stage will feature the unforgettable \u201cGusGus\u201d trio \u2013 two of the group\u2019s founders, composer and producer Biggi Veira and charismatic vocalist Dan\u00edel \u00c1g\u00fast, along with singer Margr\u00e9t R\u00e1n Magn\u00fasd\u00f3ttir, who joined the group five years ago and is jokingly referred to by her colleagues as \u201cthe newest member of the circus troupe.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
