Hearing them play together is a rare opportunity, one that is made possible thanks to the Sacred Music Hours cycle, uniting Dariusz Bąkowski-Kois and Marcin Kucharczyk into a splendid duo.

Dariusz Bąkowski-Kois is one of Poland’s most striking organists, a professor at the Academy of Music in Kraków and head of the organ department, appearing in concerts in Europe’s prestigious cathedrals and in concert halls – from Rome to Beijing.

Marcin Kucharczyk is one of the most talented organists of the young generation, a laureate at international competitions, including winning the prestigious J. The way this looks might appear a little odd, and preparation is more complex, but the results are definitely worth it.

The musicians have struck an excellent balance between tradition and new ideas, so their programme is intriguing, both for its content and execution.
