After concerts in Leipzig, Vienna and Paris, the RBS Europa Choir will again be appearing at St Casimir\u2019s Church where they have already enchanted the public with their sound. This scenario is sure to be repeated, as none other than Jeremy Jackman will be taking to the conductor\u2019s podium.<\/strong><\/p>\n His biography reads like a kind of chronicle of English choir music. Starting his career as a choir singer at St Paul\u2019s Cathedral in London, he later joined the vocal collectives The Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen and The King\u2019s Singers. Heading the English Baroque Choir for twenty years, he participated in concert tours performing at exclusive venues such as Royal Albert Hall and Venice\u2019s St Mark\u2019s Basilica.<\/p>\n The programme selected for St Casimir\u2019s Church is reminiscent of a journey across five centuries: 16th-century polyphony, spanning the gentle melancholy of Faur\u00e9, Rossini\u2019s energy and Mendelssohn\u2019s prayer for peace, right up to Britten\u2019s modern hymn of glory.
