The life of a 17th-century royal family is depicted with playful irony: the king and queen, eager to have children, try all the world\u2019s healing waters. When their long-awaited daughter is finally born, a grand christening is held, to which powerful fairies are invited.<\/p>\n
However, one\u2014old and forgotten\u2014is left out\u2026<\/p>\n
Offended, she casts a fateful curse that changes the destiny of the entire kingdom. An enchanted forest, a silent castle, and a princess asleep in a deep slumber\u2014together with the entire court and even the fire dozing in the hearth\u2014await their awakening.<\/p>\n
The play creates a realistic royal court atmosphere: actors appear in elaborate period costumes, with elegant ladies\u2019 dresses, while the fairies wear light, translucent, magical garments.<\/p>\n
