A musical performance for children<\/strong>
Inspired by L. Frank Baum\u2019s tale \u201cThe Wizard of Oz\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Yellow Brick Road\u201d<\/em> is a production with more than 30 years of history. Its story began with another well-known Keistuoliai Theatre performance, \u201cThe Wizard of the Emerald City.\u201d<\/em> After 11 years on stage and a five-year pause, the performance returned in completely new colours\u2014with a different cast, a new title, yet still featuring unforgettable songs and timeless truths. As many Keistuoliai actors like to repeat: \u201cThe most important thing is to see magic in simple things!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

This story begins when a little girl named Dorothy grows tired of everything\u2014home, books, and even her toys. Then a great storm, conjured by the wicked witch Gingema, sweeps her away from her home in Kansas to a distant, mysterious land.<\/p>\n

The magical book says:
\u201cThe little girl carried to the Land of Wonders by the tornado will be returned home by the Great Wizard of the Emerald City\u2014if she fulfils the deepest wishes of three unusual beings.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

And the path to the Emerald City is the winding Yellow Brick Road\u2014full of surprises and dangers…<\/p>\n

If you are curious and brave, unafraid of witches and wizards, join Dorothy on her journey along the Yellow Brick Road \u201cto the City of Dreams where emeralds glisten.\u201d<\/em> Come see whether the little girl reaches the Emerald City and discover whether Dorothy returns home.<\/p>\n
