The 30th Floristical Art Exhibition-Contest “Žiemos puokštė” (Winter Bouquet)

It is for the 30th year that, with the holidays approaching, the Lithuanian Exhibition and Convention Centre LITEXPO has invited us to pick up creative ideas and capture the mood of forthcoming Christmas.
Professional florists who took part in the exhibition this year (3-5 December) tried to express their creativity by making floral gardens and decorated festive tables, bouquets for the bride, etc. Those who participated in the schoolchildren competition displayed floral fir trees, Advent wreaths, floral collages, Christmas compositions for the interior, floral umbrellas and hats, as well as Christmas stockings for gifts.
This year it was for the first time that visitors to the exhibition “Winters Bouquet 2010” have been given the opportunity to see the unique exhibition of Christmas cribs, the only one in Lithuania, from Rokiškis Land Museum.
Without doubt, the exhibition has stimulated creativity and inspired a feeling of the forthcoming holidays in its every visitor.
The magic Christmas is in the air and New Year is just round the corner!
