"Lo'Jo" Concert (Opening of the Francophonie Days)

Half a billion Francophones around the world will celebrate International Day of Francophonie on 20 March. This event began in 1998 as a way for the then 49 members of La Francophonie to celebrate their common bond, the French language, as well as their diversity. Lithuania is the member (observer) of the International Francophone Organization.
Francophonie Days program is organised in several Lithuanian cities. The Opening Concert of the Francophonie Days were held on the 5th of March in Vilnius, at the "New York Club". The stars of the concert was Lo‘Jo from France.
Lo'Jo are a group of France-based musicians, performing and recording a blend of world music with strong North African as well as French folk elements.
