Gediminas Avenue

On the 6-8th of May, festive programme for the Europe Day took place in the capital. Traditionally, Gedimino avenue were turned into cuisine fair "Europe at one table", during which Lithuanian restaurants and cafés introduced national dishes of different European countries. Record number of performers were in the festival: more than 50 Vilnius children and youth clubs, in total 1000 participants, representatives of various European cultures. One of the main part of event – films introduced by European Parliament, which were nominated for LUX award in 2010.
