On the 13th of January 2011 was the 20th anniversary of the Day of the Defenders of Freedom. Events took place in Vilnius almost for a month and were held in the Seimas of Lithuania, municipalities, schools and diplomatic missions.

 

Students, teachers, students, teachers, members of the various organizations, all residents and guests of Vilnius were invited to join the special event on the 13th of January at 11.15. The Flag against the Tank, solemn carrying of a sash (200 meter long) in Lithuanian flag colours from the Cathedral Square to the Independence Square. It brought 120 senior pupils and 10 teachers.
