Creative Ideas from the Exhibition “Žiemos puokštė” (Winter Bouquet)

The Lithuanian Exhibition and Convention Centre "Litexpo“

At weekend, on 4-6 December, a festive and creative atmosphere prevailed at the Lithuanian exhibition centre LITEXPO. The 29th exhibition-contest of works of florists, which rallied masters of flower arrangements was held there. Floral lights, floral festive decorations, occasional bouquets created by florists attracted everybody’s attention. Participating in the schoolchildren’s contest were as many as 85 schoolchildren from all over Lithuania. Floral collages “Seasons of the Year” “Herbarium”, “Nostalgia”, floral brooches, ear-rings, bracelets, Christmas compositions for the interior, decorations for a silver Christmas tree, boxes created by schoolchildren were displayed. One could not only get ideas for decorating his/her home there but also acquire festive decorations, Christmas presents, and supplies for decorating fabric.

Though this year the exhibition was not as rich as it was in previous years, it was nice to see enthusiastic participants and draw inspiration for decorating ones own home in a creative way.
