Season

The exhibition of young artists is presented in Vilnius Graphic Art Centre already for the third time this year. According to the curator of the exhibition Laura Grybkauskaitė, the notion of a season has several meanings in the context of the exhibition. First of all, it defines a calendar period of the year, having particular and cyclic phenomenon of nature, the chores assigned to it as well as the events, characteristic for a particular season etc. At the same time the notion stands for certain creative, cultural and social periods and the circumstances, specific for those periods.

This year SEASON is represented by five artists of a young generation: Giedrė Anužytė, Laura Grybkauskaitė, Eglė Jakutavičiūtė, Vidmina Stasiulytė and Simona Žemaitytė.
