Red is not Blue

Painting for me is an expression of perception of creativity and aesthetics. I strive for harmony and proportions, but at the same time I look for contrasting and unexpected combinations and interesting compositions. In my works I deliberately emphasise details or fragments by creating a mystery that intrigues the audience. I obtain a static image by using acrylic paint and broad paintbrush. I follow academic arrangement and create composition, based on different planes, distinguishing them by sharp strokes and lines. By choosing rich colours I take a risk to play with unexpected contrasts, so rarely found in the nature. For me, feelings, colours and aesthetics – all it as the whole amounts to creation process.
