Three spaces

It is a joint exhibition of MILITA BALČAITYTĖ (1986), GERDA JANKEVIČIŪTĖ (1986) and INGA ŽVAGINYTĖ (1984), the master degree graduates from Textile department of Vilnius Art Academy. The authors introduce the works of the present period of their creativity in three spaces of the gallery. In their works they try to reveal their own personal relation with textile. Their concept of textile is very wide, they do not limit themselves to the mere usage of a formal application of textile material or technique, but rather they try to search for the ways of interaction, for example, between textile and fire or for the original synthesis of textile and sound.
