The Pictures of Life

To commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Vincas Dilka (1912–1997), the exhibition is organized in Radvilos Palace Museum, a branch of Lithuanian Art Museum, in Vilnius, with a display of more than 150 works of the artist, revealing the artist’s creative path.

Vincas Dilka was an artist of a wide range of genre who created about 400 works of monumental and easel painting, works of applied (posters, projects of postal stamps) and sheet graphics, book illustrations, drawings, sceneries, stained glasses and costume sketches. However, the biggest part of his creative heritage is covered by easel painting (thematic compositions of historic and domestic genre, landscapes, portraits and still lives).
