Joana Kairienė. Motive

Joana Kairienė (born on 1987) is going to graduate from Graphics Art Master Studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 2009 she has been actively engaged in the group artists’ exhibitions in Lithuania, Bulgaria and Greece.

 

"Motive" is the first solo exhibition of Joana Kairienė. The name of the exhibition as if collects various meanings, existing in the works of this young and talented artist, under one roof. A motive accounts for the causes of an action and the argument, witnessing that action as well as the proof and the evidence.

 

In the exhibition the works are displayed expressing the things used in daily environment and created by xylograph and painting technique. For the artist they are as if non-significant details which she takes interest in from a detective story perspective.
