German Cinema Days

Challenges of the global world and changing identity, freedom and daily choices, sources of terrorism and attempts to discover yourself – such varied aspects of life will be discussed, either seriously or with humor, in "German cinema days", taking place from 2nd through 8th of February. The event is to be presented by Goethe institute together with Austria Embassy in Vilnius and Switzerland Embassy in Riga.

 

The program consists of thirteen new films, the authors of which are both acknowledged directors and debutants from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, searching for a dialogue with their audience, breaking entrenched provisions and taboo, discussing the eternal themes, such as life, death and love.
